The following are the core beliefs of AnchorPointe Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

Jesus

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for our sins and then physically rose from the dead. He now sits at the right hand of the Father and will one day call us up in the air to meet him and live for eternity

The Bible

New Testaments, is the divinely inspired completely infallible word of God. Not only is it relevant for life today but it is still the final authority in all matters. Anything that contradicts the word of God has no place at AnchorPointe Church.

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from a loving God. However, it must be accepted and we do this by putting our trust in Jesus and His finished work on the cross of Calvary. There is absolutely no other way to Heaven except through faith in Jesus Christ. Eternal life begins the moment you accept Jesus Christ and His forgiveness.

Marriage

Marriage as defined by the infallible word of God, is the union between one man and one woman. It was designed by God and when entered into biblically, is one of the greatest of all God’s blessings.

The Church

The local church is ordained and created by God. It is a family of believers associated by our faith in Jesus Christ. The church is designed to be the light of the world. We are to strive to win the lost, disciple those won, rejoice with one another, mourn with one another, strengthen one another, love on and meet the needs of the helpless and hopeless of our community.

Baptism

We believe baptism is an act of obedience which symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe it is good for all believers to be baptized as an act of faith and as a symbol to the world of salvation.
