Built Different is a four-week series about building a faith that doesn’t fall apart when life gets difficult. Throughout the series, students discover that Jesus must be the foundation of their lives, that strong faith develops through deep spiritual roots, and that God can use pressure to strengthen and mature them. Ultimately, being Built Different means choosing to stand with Jesus before the battle ever begins—trusting Him when life shakes, following Him when it costs something, and developing a faith that is strong enough to last. 

AP Students is the student ministry of AnchorPointe Church, created to help students know Jesus, build genuine relationships, and develop a faith that goes beyond Wednesday night.

We believe students aren't just the church of tomorrow—they're an important part of the church right now. Our goal is to create a place where every student feels welcomed, known, and challenged to take their next step with Jesus.

Wednesday nights are the heartbeat of AP Students.

Each week, students come together for a night built specifically for them. Expect plenty of fun, games, time with friends, worship, and a relevant message from God's Word that connects faith with the things students are actually facing.

Whether you've grown up in church, haven't been in a long time, or have never stepped inside a church before, you belong here.

What We're About

At AP Students, we want to help students:

KNOW JESUS - More than simply knowing about Him, we want students to develop a genuine, personal relationship with Jesus.

FIND COMMUNITY - Nobody should have to do life alone. AP Students is a place to build friendships, find encouragement, and be surrounded by people who will walk alongside you.

GROW IN FAITH - We want students to understand God's Word, ask real questions, and learn how to follow Jesus in everyday life.

LIVE WITH PURPOSE - God has given every student a purpose. We want to equip students to use their gifts, serve others, share their faith, and make a difference wherever God has placed them.

What Should I Expect?

Don't worry about having everything figured out before you come.

When you arrive, you'll find a relaxed environment designed for students. We'll have time to hang out, have fun, connect with one another, and learn about Jesus together.

There's no pressure to pretend to be someone you're not. AP Students is a place where you can show up, be yourself, ask questions, and discover what it really means to follow Jesus.

Who Can Come?

AP Students is for middle and high school students.

You don't have to be a member of AnchorPointe Church to attend, and you don't need to already know someone in the group. If you're a student looking for a place to belong, we'd love to have you.

Your First Wednesday

Coming somewhere new can feel awkward—we get it. That's why we want your first night to be easy.

Just show up a few minutes before 6:30 PM, and our team will help you get connected. If you have a friend you'd feel more comfortable coming with, bring them too.
